& vegetable crisps accompanied by Loweswater Gold from
the Cumbrian legendary ales brewery.
Followed by
Risotto of roasted butternut squash,
parsnip & sage served on chargrilled aubergine.
It will be paired with Blackbeck Belle, an ale
from Blackbeck Brewery.

Course
Herdwick lamb shank (Yew Tree Farm, Rosthwaite) slowly braised till meltingly tender, in Cumbrian ale, with garlic, herbs & root vegetables. Served with celeriac & potato mash and a rich stock gravy.
Or for non meat lovers: Blue cheese, onion & walnut tart.

Poached pear with butternut squash & Mascarpone Cream
or Brownie fudge pie with vanilla ice cream.
Complimenting this course will be Golden fleece ale
